Kristen and I were touched by kindness during the diagnosis, hospitalization, and passing of our son, Milo Joseph. Now, our good friends, Mac and Julie Basinski are facing the most unimaginable loss with the unexpected passing of their sweet daughter, Mia Christine.
Kristen and Julie met as little girls in Mrs. Rea's First Grade class at Theunis Dey Elementary School in Wayne, NJ. They became best friends immediately, and over the years, their friendship became a sisterly bond. They even attended colleges in and around Richmond, VA and are now happily call Richmond home.
Julie and Kristen's bond, along with their friends Laura and Kendrick, strengthened even more as the ladies faced unimaginable health concerns with their children. Julie, Mac , and friends were instrumental in helping us process Milo's loss, and in the most unfortunate turn of events, it is now our turn to pay it forward.
On Thursday, Decemeber 1, 2016, the world lost a sweet angel with the passing of Mia Christine Basinski. We are asking for donations to assist Julie, Mac, and Mia's siblings, Madison and Nadia, with medical bills, funeral expenses, and grief-related costs. Your support and kindness is very appreciated!
