Our beautiful Ruby Red Boy was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer 18mths ago. Basil's Thyroid was removed followed by intense radiation Therapy. Our boy sustained 3 degree burns requiring wound care 3x daily........ he was so brave but was so sad but trusting all we doing for him. His brother Harvey cared for him and gently licked his face during convalescence.
The last 12mths our pool diving , role model and carer to his adopted resue brother Harvey has had so much fun.
Last week our boy's Oncologist broke the news Basil had Metastatic Thyroid cancer to his Lyphm nodes. He requires sugery to remove nodes followed by Chemotherapy.
We have to give our beautiful boy Basil another chance and a few more summers of his love of swimming and mentoring his brother Harvey.
We are humbled to ask for help as we are still trying pay off our last visa vet bills for Basils treatments.
