On Thursday February 25th 2021 our brother Carmine passed away from a tragic snowmobile accident.  Since then, we have been at at loss for words, unable to process life without him and clinging to one another to make sense of it all.  The impact he had on those around him was immeasurable.  His presence in the firehouse was unrivaled and his resume as a firefighter was impressive by any standard.  His cooking, quick wit, and humor could brighten any tour.  He was truly a person you looked forward to working with.

As a friend, he was genuine and available. In less than 4 years he managed to form individual relationships with nearly everyone in the firehouse.  On runs it was evident how many more friends he had throughout the neighborhood.   We cannot consider filling his shoes but we are beyond committed to honoring his memory and caring for his family.

Andrea, Elliana, and Baby Barresi need our help.  Many of us were blessed to spend time with the Barresis as a family and know the role that Carmine played as a father and a husband.  We are raising money to balance any and all financial responsibilities that befall Andrea as a result of the funeral and beyond. 

We would like to clear the way for Andrea to focus on what she feels is most important.  Whether it be mourning the loss of her husband or caring for her children, our intent is that finances remain irrelevant.  We cannot bring Carmine back to this world but we can forever take care of the parts of it that he loved the most, his family.
