Hello Friends and Family! Tisse here, writing on behalf of Barney and his Riverbottom property. On January 9th, as Ojai (and most of California) got hit by devastating storms, our place was ravaged by water and debris flow. We experienced flooding in the cabin, airstream, outdoor kitchen and all the surroundings. Everything has either been swept away downstream or destroyed by water damage and mold. The structures must be gutted entirely and rebuilt in order to be habitable once again. About 1/2 of the property has been wiped out and is covered in 3-4ft of mud, silt, and debris.

This place is not just our home, but Barney's beloved creation. For the last five years, he has built it all with his blood, sweat, tears, time and money. This has been a gathering place, retreat, and refuge for our community. Barney is the most generous host and it would mean so much to him to receive support in getting the place back to its glory.

This is our opportunity to give back to the person and place that have loved us so well! We have just begun the clean-up process this week, and are passing the hat around to our community for support to get the land cleaned up and livable so we can all enjoy it again.
