A Dream for Dog Lovers, By Dog Lovers Imagine a place where your pup can run free and you can relax with a cold drink and good company. A space where dogs and people build friendships, share stories, and feel part of a real community. That’s Bark & Sip—a one-of-a-kind dog-friendly bar and park coming to Prince George’s County, Maryland. And with your help, we can build it together. Why Bark & Sip Matters PG County has thousands of dog owners but nowhere safe and social to bring our pets and our people together. Bark & Sip is more than a business—it’s a community movement. We're creating a welcoming space that includes: A safe, fenced dog park (large + small dog areas) Outdoor bar and social seating for owners Live music, food vendors, local events Inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere Support for local artists, musicians, and entrepreneurs We’re breaking ground on something new—and you can be part of it from the beginning. What Your Donation Supports We're raising $40,000 to cover the startup costs of bringing Bark & Sip to life: Land development & grading $15,000 Dog fencing, gates & play zones $10,000 Permits & licenses (zoning, alcohol, dog park) $5,000 Outdoor bar build-out + seating $7,000 Website, signage & launch marketing $3,000 Every single dollar will go directly toward building and opening our space. Who We Are My name is Anthony Williams, a lifelong dog lover and proud resident of Prince George’s County. After visiting dog bars around the country, I knew we needed something like this at home—a space where people and pups could unwind and feel welcome. Bark & Sip will be the first dog-friendly bar in PG County, and a safe place for people from all backgrounds to connect over shared love of dogs and community. This is a Black-owned, locally built business—and I’m deeply passionate about giving back to the community that raised me.
