This is the first time we/our family has called upon GoFund Me for help. We, as a family are trying to find help for Barbara with any financial challenges she has at this time.
Some families have so much loss, too much - its unbelievable really.
About 14yrs ago our Dad David, her husband died from cancer, he was only 56yrs . . 5yrs later our sister, her daughter Shayna died. Three months after that, her nephew Scottie passed from cancer also.. and six months later, her son Darrell died unexpectedly. Three young people in 9months lost.
About 6yrs ago, from that stress and heartache - Barb (who is 71yrs and still has to work, as a florist at Metro and many many other flower shops over the years) got pancreatic cancer.. . and beat it.
Now.. after finding a lump in her neck and getting the test results ... Barbara received the worst news possible. Anaplastic Carcinoma of the thyroid. No treatment.. no help, no options. Less than two months to live was the diagnosis. She basically has the next month to get her affairs and home in order, prepare her home to sell, move out, etc... And the second month to wait for this to take her or get worse. Who knows...
If we can help her in any way possible with expenses incurred or bills, or even to pre-plan her funeral .or make her last months a bit more comfortable. please, please, please.. we are asking for a little help ($20, $10.. anything ) I swear, it would be SO appreciated.
We have our health ... can we PLEASE help someone who isn't as fortunate as we are.
