For those of you how don't already know, Sara aka "Bakke" was already dealing with multiple sclerosis (MS) when she was recently diagnosed with invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. This woman is the rock of her family. You see, Sara dedicates her life to others. Her full-time job as a Special Education teacher, a full-time caretaker not only to her family but as well as to her mother who has been fighting MS herself for over 20-years. In her spare time, which is little to none, she is traveling to hockey games cheering on her youngest son, making phone calls of encouragement to her oldest son as a freshman in college on the east side of the state, or being the best "Gigi" to her grandbaby. This woman is one of the strongest I know. One who never asks for help but is always the first to give it. So here I am, with a group of friends, asking on her behalf for donations that will assist her with the upcoming trials ahead. There will be a need for time off work in her near future and need for rest. For all she has done and continues to do for so many, this is our way of paying it forward. So any donation no matter how big or small it will be greatly appreciated. If a financial donation is not an option for you - prayers and words of encouragement are always another blessing to put upon this family. We also will be setting up a meal train in the near future to assist her in prepping food for her family so be on the look out for that.
