Could you be the reason Bakhita gets to be in school?

Bakhita is 14 years old and living in difficult circumstances. Originally from South Sudan, she and her family are living as refugees in Nairobi, Kenya. Despite the challenges in her life, she has worked incredibly hard and did well in junior high—and now she has a dream: to attend senior high boarding school.

She knows that education is her path to a better future. A way out of poverty. A chance to build a different life.

Her mom, a widowed parent of six, works hard as a domestic helper just to provide food and pay rent for their small two-room home. School fees are simply out of reach.

My Sunray Fund project (www.sunrayfund.net) is already supporting 34 students. We'd love to add in one more, but we can’t help Bakhita without you.
