LOS SAGRADOS, is launching this fundraiser to support our herds rising Food and Medical costs for our HERD of 8 horses and 8 donkeys. 

The horse and donkey sanctuary rescue ranch is the backcountry of Baja California Sur in El Pescadero, one hour north of Cabo San Lucas. Although this is a comprehensive emergency fund, our current focus is the Food, Grain and Hay costs to sustain this herd, after our ranch experienced major rain and flooding, causing damages to fences and gates, and outdoor secure structures.

Storm Lorena caused flooding, landslides, damage to roads, and power outages in Baja California Sur in September 2025, affecting our el pescadero area including

Significant rainfall caused flooding and swollen streams.

At Los Sagrados, we believe we can help change the way animals are handled here, with education and By providing a safe space & a healing rehabilitation sanctuary for animals in need. We also welcome schools visits, and love to share nature based education on large animals for Children & Volunteers.

Our rescue ranch’s intention is to create a safe and respectful place to heal with loving-kindness & protect animals while they heal, return to wellness and find their center. We are practicing equine assisted learning and therapeutic riding for disabled and special needs children and adults. We use empowering exercises to help heal both horse and human and work with local addiction centers to support trauma to create a positive empowering human -helping -horse energetic bond.

A group of volunteers, along with our ranch manager, we welcome the community around us to participate & collectively engage in the healing and help create a harmonious community.
