I’m reaching out to share my story and ask for your support. Recently, I was the victim of a hit-and-run accident while on my motorcycle. Unfortunately, the driver backed over me not just once, but then again, resulting in a severe fracture of my femur. I was lifeflighted to Des Moines Mercy Hospital where I underwent surgery.

Because of this accident, I have to relearn how to walk/use my leg, so I’m unable to work and was hospitalized for a week. My recovery is expected to last between six to twelve months. During this time, my partner Vici has been doing everything she can to help me recover, while also continuing to work and cover our bills, which has been a significant struggle for her.

The funds raised will go towards covering medical expenses, rent, utilities, and other essential living costs, allowing me to focus on healing without added financial stress.
