Kishia Griffith was a single mother who took pride in her beautiful children. She did the best she could to provide for them and they loved her very dearly. If you ask them they would tell you they thought of her as their best friend.
Video of the kids is here:
During this difficult time, the family will be very focused on the funeral and related arrangements. It came to mind that in less than two weeks, school will begin. While struggling with so much grief, the children must return to school and try their best to focus on their studies. My biggest concern is the stress they will deal with and it may be hard for the family to also afford school clothing and supplies at this time.
I ask you to remember growing up and going back to school each year.It was a time to meet new friends, get new gear, and embark on new adventures. This year it will be very sad for them. Please help us to raise funds to go towards helping them be prepared for the school year. Any amount will be appreciated. Even if just the $5 you may have used on Starbucks tomorrow, it will be greatly appreciated.
Today I will pledge $300 towards this fund and hope you join me. Every child deserves happiness, and anything to reduce their stress will make this just a little more possible.
Funds will be used as follows:
$50 shoes budget for each child: $300
$250 Clothing budget for each child: $1500
School Supplies: $500
2 Desktop computers: $1000
For anyone who has not used GoFundMe before, Fear not. The funds will be released to me and I will purchase all the items for the kids. I will even update all of you with details.
Thank You all and God Bless You!
