Hi, my name is Emma and I sponsor six children in Uganda to provide access to education. All six are boarders at Mothercare Primary School in Mityana.

Last year you helped me raise funds to refurbish the school’s kitchen which needed a new roof and repairs to two of the three ovens (see picture). Thank you so much for your generosity. It has made a huge difference to mealtimes!

This year, I’m hoping to fund a new project: the installation of a fresh water tap to provide the pupils with safe drinking water. The cost of this project is £1200 but the benefits to the school are priceless.

I know money is tight this year but please consider making a small donation to support this life-saving project. Having access to fresh water should not be a privilege enjoyed by the few.
