Baby G's Final Expenses & projects for Gwen's Journey

My name is Melanie Ryder and I am the grammy to Miss Gwendalyn (aka Gwen). Gwen was born 6 weeks early on 10/7/24 and weight just 3 lbs 10 ounces. Shortly after birth at UPMC, she was life flighted down to the Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville where she remains critically unstable.

Mommy & Daddy are doing their best to spend as much time with her as possible all the while raising her 2 year old sister, Addie (aka Addieville). Thus they travel back and forth from home to the NICU to visit while this grammy and the rest of the family take turns watching Addie.

Due to the nature of Gwen's condition, her entire system is fragile and extra precautions were done just today to help her gain some positive ground. It's going to be a very long, stressful, exhausting and financially stretched road. Daddy has been off on a short FML at a huge reduction of pay. Mommy will be off for extra weeks due to her C-Section and her body not healing as it should. She's also on FML at a huge reduction of pay. All the while trying to keep a roof over their head, bills, paid, food in the house and gasoline to get to and from Danville .. it doesn't help that mommy's car also needs new tires cause it's not the best circumstances with all the extra mileage.

Pop-Pop, the uncles and myself are doing what we can to keep our household a float while helping out the baby's family. But we need a bit of help - all the while we are praying for a positive outcome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
