Help Baby Catherine BEAT Open Heart Surgery!
Help Baby Catherine beat open heart surgery!
On February 6, 2020 - Ryan and Angie welcomed their perfect baby girl Catherine to this bright, wonderful world. Her arrival has been much anticipated and we all agree that she is absolutely perfect!
However, Catherine does have an extra special heart. At 27 weeks gestation, she was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot - a congenital heart defect that will require open heart surgery within the first six months of life. Catherine's health care team has been following her closely, and although she came home after only 8 days in the NICU and continues to show us her brave and strong spirit every day, her doctors think that surgery will be needed sooner rather than later.
Catherine will soon need to travel to Edmonton for open heart surgery and our hope is that your generous and loving donations will help with the family's travel expenses, as well as with extra expenses that Angie and Ryan might have in order to be in Edmonton to support their little girl as she recovers. We appreciate each one of your donations, as well as your prayers and support for this family. Thank you for helping them face this next obstacle together.
Danica (Catherine's proud auntie!)
