As many of you already know, as a New England transplant, I’ve spent the last 5 years operating charter catamarans in the Virgin Islands and have grown to call these beautiful Islands of the South East Caribbean home. There is something about the pace of life in the islands that truly separates itself from anywhere in the world. While the physical beauty may be breathtaking, creating picturesque post cards and photographs, it’s the local residents that make this island chain truly paradise.

            With the arrival of Hurricane Irma, followed by the arrival of Hurricane Maria, the islands have been left in disrepair. Islanders are facing homes destroyed, no electricity and few means of communication with family and friends. The local residents desperately need to rebuild their lives and communities.  They need help and they need resources now. With this in mind my family and I have started the non profit BVI AND USVI RELIEF INC as a way to raise money and awareness for the devastation caused. With close ties to the islands, we hope to raise money and ensure that it gets to those who need it most.

            There are no donations too large or too small. Any amount will go a long way to help rebuild the island communities!
