
BIW Premiere Screening and Party

Hi there, Francis here. As February 20th quickly approaches, multiple persons have indicated they wish to help with the cost of the BIW Premiere Screening and small party for the cast/crew/guests in San Jose. Rather than driving around, trying to get donations from each person, this gives everyone a convenient way to donate money to help out with the cost of the event (Venue rental, Event insurance, food/drink, mandatory Security/Janitorial costs per location request, etc.)
$1500 is the target goal, however, push rewards if we hit $1800 will ensure some more refreshments for everyone there. (Sorry, the venue has put the kabosh on liquor, but we will be meeting for an afterparty later, details coming soon).
We 'could' have gone the free or lower cost route, but who wants to go to a movie premiere starring you and your friends, at a school auditorium with hundreds of folding chairs. This is a legitimate performance arts stage and theater seating. It will have the legit 'red carpet' experience for everyone. :)
Try to donate as soon as you can so that we can have an idea of what we can afford on the food/drink side. Also a donation box will be at the theater for anyone who wants to chip in on the additional costs. Thanks everyone. This will be a blast.
