Boys & Girls Clubs Bowl I - Go Seahawks!
Boys & Girls Club Bowl I!
To
celebrate Super Bowl XLVIII, Boys
& Girls Clubs of King County (Seattle) has challenged Boys
& Girls Clubs of Metro Denver to a fundraising competition to support kids!
In honor of Super Bowl XLVIII, the Club that raises the most money by February 4th will be declared the winner of Boys & Girls Clubs Bowl I. If the Denver Clubs lose, their Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club kids and staff have to wear
Seahawks Blue for a day. If the Seattle Clubs lose, our King County Boys & Girls Club kids and staff have to wear Broncos Orange for a day. Don't let the Seattle Club kids wear Broncos Orange!
UPDATE (1/30): Donors of $48 or more will be entered into a drawing* to
win a Seahawks replica helmet autographed by our cornerback, #25 Richard
Sherman. Here's your chance to be part of the Legion of Boom! (Thanks to Richard
Sherman and our friends at Coca-Cola for
donating the helmet.)
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is proud to have a strong community partner in the Seattle Seahawks. Since 2006, our YouthForce teen employment program has partnered with the Seahawks to provide more than 800 teens entry-level work experiences as the "Hawk Squad" during home games. Teens develop customer service, communication, team work, leadership, and problem solving skills in the exciting atmosphere of home football games at CenturyLink Stadium.
In the end, all of our Club kids are the winners. Instead of "trash talking" our rivals in Denver, we posed this "treasure talking" championship challenge to our colleagues in Denver.
Your donation will help the more than 15,000 youth and teens Boys & Girls Clubs of King County serves each year. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
