INTRODUCTION

We are the Black Chamber of Arizona, empowering small businesses, entrepreneurs, and aspiring leaders across the state. For 26 years, we have supported underserved and marginalized businesses, helping them overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

To further this mission, we are launching the Arizona Economic Opportunity Fund to provide funding, mentorship, and business resources that drive economic growth. We need your support to keep our services going and expand our impact in these communities.

At the Black Chamber of Arizona Foundation, we believe that economic opportunity is the foundation of a thriving, inclusive community. Our mission is simple but powerful: to empower Arizona’s future by supporting small business growth, mentoring young leaders, and expanding access to resources for underserved communities.

Too many aspiring entrepreneurs lack the tools, capital, and guidance they need to succeed. Too many young people with great ideas don’t have a seat at the table. We’re changing that — one business, one mentee, one neighborhood at a time.

THE STORY

Small businesses form the backbone of Arizona’s economy, but many entrepreneurs face significant challenges securing funding, accessing expert guidance, and building sustainable operations. While the Black Chamber of Arizona has been a steadfast advocate for these businesses, financial resources remain one of the biggest barriers to success.

The Arizona Economic Opportunity Fund was created to bridge this gap by offering small businesses access to essential funding and hands-on mentorship. Our goal is to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and capital they need to turn their ideas into thriving, sustainable businesses

HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED

Our goal is to raise $50,000, which will be strategically allocated to maximize impact:

• Business Development Resources: Equipping entrepreneurs with mentorship, training, and strategic guidance from experienced business leaders to help them navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

• Economic Growth Initiatives: Strengthening Arizona’s local economy by fostering job creation, business sustainability, and long-term growth.

• Community Engagement & Networking: Hosting workshops, networking events, and collaborative sessions to connect entrepreneurs with valuable industry contacts and potential investors.
