Time to revive. God is Alive. It's SEASON 5. W'ahppen massive. It's BLESSINGS BEYOND BORDERS 5th SEASON of releasing triggers of hope to people in need. For 4 Seasons consecutively, we have served JAMAICA (the land of my birth) with over 80 Barrels. Now Jehovah Yahweh has expanded the mission to Kenya!

Ambassadors of hope? Let's do it AGAIN!

SEASON 5 goal? $10,000 (36 Barrels - 2 countries). Here's the breakdown:

WHAT ARE TRIGGERS OF HOPE?

Basic NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, basic HYGIENE PRODUCTS (for men & women), BABY FOOD, FORMULA, DIAPERS. All of which are extremely challenging for our target audience to afford. So when we place large grocery bags LOADED with these items into their hands? It triggers authentic praise and thanks to the one who created all of us, the one who has never forgotten about us and the one who orchestrated the path for them to be the recipient. The bags of groceries, baby items or hygiene products are distributed to trigger hope for them to believe again. God is STILL good!

$100US? The MONTHLY salary for those that we serve in Kenya. Did she say MONTH? Yes....she said MONTH!

$100US is the weekly salary for those we serve in Jamaica!

Can you imagine a salary like that to take care of rent, food, transportation, school tuition and other basic needs for one person much less a family?

In Kenya and Jamaica? There are NO FOOD STAMPS, NO SECTION 8 HOUSING, NO GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE. This is why missions like BLESSINGS BEYOND BORDERS exist and do what we do. The need is MASSIVE! 25 Barrels for Jamaica and 11 for Kenya does not even BEGIN to address the need!

Why go through the process of collecting & shipping?

Isn't it more feasible to raise funds, purchase items locally and distribute there?

Great questions and in theory that sounds like wisdom. Reality check #2. It is actually more cost effective to do it this way. The cost of the items that we ship are astronomical locally! Even after paying taxes and fees? What we give away for FREE is a lot more cost effective to ship than to purchase locally.

Quick example: $1.25US can purchase a 5 pack of Ramen Noodles. $1.25US = $155JA. A SINGLE packet of that same Ramen = $185JA.

Season after season, we respond to those who are in need - not those fueled by greed! Oh Yes! We are perfectly aware of the opportunists. And we are GRATEFUL for our local community advocates who help us identify deserving families and individuals. We are also GRATEFUL for the navigation of Holy Spirit - always leading, always guiding, always protecting, always providing.

So that is our pitch for SEASON 5! Jamaica? Get ready for ROUND 5. Kenya? We are birthing something NEW.
