Kenya Mission Trip Fund

Hi my name is Bethany Bramble:) I am 18 years old and I am a 2016 graduate from highschool. I am from First Christian Church, where I have grown up my entire life.
I am trying to raise $2500 to meet the funds in order to go to Kenya on a mission trip for two weeks this September/October with my church.
During this trip we will be straveling to Lodwar, Kenya. In Lodwar, we will be hosting a VBS at the Missions of Hope's Napuu School. Hundreds of kids will be attending this VBS, and it may be the first time for many of them that they will hear about Jesus and His love. During the trip we will also be taking food to the village of Lorengelup and take part in a jewelry project with the village woman.
My goal is to raise the money by September 15,2016. If you do the math you will realize that that is a very short amount of time to raise that big of a chunk of money. The question may cross your mind of why I am just starting to raise the money now; and the reason for that is because for the last couple of months I was focusing on trying to raise money for a mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico that I went on in July. We built two houses for two families and it was during that time that I realized this is what I truly want to do with my life.
Building relationships with the families and the people, and bonding with the children burned a desire in my heart to live out my dream to be a missionary. Every since I was five, I have always felt God calling me to the mission field. For the longest time I did not know where He wanted me to go, or what He wanted me to do as a missionary, but being in Mexico showed me that my heart is burneded for all His people. That may seem very vague, but it is truly what I feel in my heart and I will go anywhere God wants me to go. During the mission trip in Mexico, God revealed to me my love & passion for children; so that is why I am so excited to go to Kenya where I can be apart of a VBS for hundreds of children and allow God to show His love for them through us.
Going on this trip would not only be my first time out of North America, but it will also be the first time that I know I am doing exactly what God wants me to do, and going exactly where He wants me to go. I know this was a very long "summary" of what I am raising money to do, but I am so thankful that you took the time to read my story. Even if you are unable to support me financially, I would greatly apprecite your support by praying for me and my team. I know God will provide all that I need, and I pray that reading my story has encouraged you in someway to follow God's calling for you and trust in His provison.
