Greetings, world citizens of the year 2999.

Or, as we like to say in the year 1999: "YOLO, baes!"

The Society of Completely Accurate Recreations is proud to present “Back to the Biltmore”, a touchable, non-AI generated experience depicting the sacred “Tupperware” ritual held in the Before Times.

Real materials. Real history. 100% safe.

It has taken years of studying ancient analog mechanisms to re-create a machine called a “roller coaster” in which chairs (“coasters”) are rolled through a 3-dimensional model made entirely of non-digital simulations. That’s right, instead of using projected pixels, this apparatus is surrounded by organic and synthetic materials shaped to represent things — made by human hands, not robots!

Fully immerse yourselves in what it was like to party, back when parties were held “in real life”, not in the metaverse. See what a room made of “cardboard” looked like back when trees were abundant and harvested to ship things in! Observe the now-extinct sasquatch roaming the amazon rainforest! Let the scent of the orgy room and the Alien Drive Thru wash over you, and honor the ancient traditions by singing the hymn of “drip drip”!

Have you ever felt something called “joy”?

Millions of humans have entered machines like this (back when Disney was an actual place, not just our only source of entertainment), and reported feelings of elation called “whimsy”. We want to bring you this feeling too, and we believe that it’ll be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before!

But, as you can imagine, using only technology available in that long-ago era is much more expensive than modern day 3D printing technologies. Metal needs to be glued together using electricity; organic material like wood and cotton need to be sourced or lab-grown; humans need food and whiskey to be functional and creative.

(image: haha, look how janky and inaccurate human creations are! So quaint! We love it!)

If I share with you my story, will you share your dollar with me?

We need your help! If you, like us, are fascinated by this bygone era and want research and education about Tupperware culture to continue, please consider donating some time, talent, and especially treasure to the endeavor.

In exchange for your generosity, we’ll dig out something for you from our archives — strange artifacts, classic memorabilia, or 100% accurate recreations of our favorite tales from hotels long gone. What will it be?? We don't know yet, but we promise you it will be good!

This fundraiser is supported by Shadow Traffic, an awesome nonprofit based on the east coast. Any donation you make here is eligible for charity tax deduction.

Please consider sponsoring this group of artists. AI might make things easy, but artists keep things WEIRD.

Thoughts and prayers!

Would you like to know what the sausage is made of?

This contains spoilers, but also gives you an idea what a monstrous task we have in front of us.

  • Fabricating a track strong enough to hang a bunch of ski-lift-style chairs off of (yes, in a hotel.)
  • Fabricating aforementioned chairs strong enough to hold you and your snuggle buddy
  • Building and painting a fabulous, detailed world to transport you through
  • Engineer the tech that's gonna move the track along, and some other crazy moving parts in the ride
  • Sounds! Music! Lights! Smells?? FIRE? RAIN?? (probably not, but you never know.) Take yourself back to the Rainforest and remind yourself -- if you think it's impossible, we've already done it.
