Baker 2 Vegas - Team Gold

120 miles of pavement, 20 stages, over 8,000 runners, guests, family members, and support staff. Hot days and cold nights.  Blood. Sweat. Pride. Honor…..

The Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay (B2V) is a non-work related relay.  It is the most prestigious and unique law enforcement/civil service foot race in the world.  Starting in Baker, CA and ending in Las Vegas, NV, runners and supporters work together all day and all through the night to battle it out for the prestigious winners mugs.  Although it is not work related, the U.S. Department of Labor has fielded a team for 14 years.  The race is run on the employees own time and money and is not funded by the government.  The runners and supporters participate for pride, comradery, and bragging rights!  This race is a great opportunity for DOL employees to reunite with or meet coworkers from around the country.  We are looking forward to the 2018 race (34th anniversary) which takes place on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
