Mrs. Nery González, a 77-year-old woman full of life, an exemplary mother and grandmother, was recently diagnosed with a cerebral glioma (a malignant brain tumor). Over the past few months, she began losing her memory, orientation, and ability to communicate. At the end of September, her condition worsened, and she had to be rushed to the hospital.

At Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital, she was admitted to intensive care with a diagnosis of severe intracranial hypertension. Doctors confirmed that the tumor was pressing on vital brain structures.

She underwent emergency surgery, where they managed to remove a large part of the glioma to save her life.

Currently, Mrs. Nery remains in intensive care, connected to life support.

Doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize her, but she now faces a long and expensive recovery process.

She needs:

La Sra. Nery González, una mujer de 77 años, llena de vida, madre y abuela ejemplar, fue diagnosticada recientemente con un glioma cerebral (tumor maligno en el cerebro). Durante los últimos meses comenzó a perder la memoria, la orientación y la capacidad de comunicarse. A finales de septiembre, su estado se complicó gravemente y tuvo que ser trasladada de emergencia al hospital.

En el Hospital Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño, fue ingresada a cuidados intensivos con diagnóstico de hipertensión endocraneana severa. Los médicos confirmaron que el tumor estaba presionando estructuras vitales del cerebro.

Fue sometida a una cirugía de emergencia donde lograron extraer gran parte del glioma para salvar su vida.

Actualmente, la Sra. Nery continúa en terapia intensiva, conectada a soporte vital.

Los médicos están haciendo todo lo posible para estabilizarla, pero ahora se enfrenta a un proceso largo y costoso de recuperación.
