Ayúdemos a Romy en su batalla contra el Cáncer

We ask for your help so that together we can provide assistance for Romy in this difficult battle against cancer. Romy is a very cheerful person and an animal lover. She helps every little animal she sees on the street without hesitation. Everyone who knows her knows that she always smiles no matter the circumstances, even when her heart is crying inside.

Her life hasn't always been easy ,since she was a child she was raised by her grandmother and aunt, both of whom died when Romy was still young. This was undoubtedly one of the toughest moments in her life, as both passed away from the same disease that Romy is fighting today. Therefore, she knows more than anyone else what it's like to suffer from this disease. She had no one to rely on, not since she was a child and even less so at that moment. After her grandmother and aunt passed away, Romy began to rebuild her life, experiencing highs and lows like everyone else. Despite everything, she maintained her positive spirit and generous heart. She decided to take new paths in another country far from her country of Ecuador and moved to Argentina, thinking that many things would change. However, on her journey, there have been those who have hurt and betrayed her. Nevertheless, she never lost hope of finding someone with whom she could have the family she had always dreamed of.

A year ago, she finally decided to give love a chance and found that special person who loves her with all his heart. Between wedding plans and hoping to smile at life, she felt that something was not right with her health. She had been feeling a slight pain for a few months that became more severe over time. This time, with her stomach slightly swollen, she decided to undergo a medical checkup, thinking that everything would be alright. At the age of 37, she never imagined that this disease, which she knew so well and feared, would come back to haunt her, but this time not in her loved ones, but in herself. Upon receiving the news that she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, specifically serous adenocarcinoma, unfortunately, in an advanced stage, as this cancer has spread to the intestines and peritoneum, becoming metastasis, her plans have changed again, and now she has to fight for her life and overcome it.

The tumor she has is very large and cannot be operated on as it is lodged in the ovaries, the peritoneal area, and the intestine. Chemotherapy sessions are expected to reduce the tumor so that she can undergo surgery and be given a chance at life. It is true that she may no longer be able to fulfill her dream of having children, but God has given her such a big heart that if she can survive and fight, her dream of having a family with the person she loves is possible, even if it's not with her own children but through other alternatives.

She still lives in Argentina with her boyfriend, who has decided to work part-time to take care of her and make her feel less lonely. The loneliness, frustration, and fear weighs heavily on her heart. I ask that perhaps, with a little help, we can assist in covering her medical expenses so that she can receive another chance at life.

Pedimos tu ayuda para que juntos, acompañemos a Romy en esta difícil batalla contra el cáncer.

Romy es una persona muy alegre y amante de los animales. Cada animalito que ve en la calle lo ayuda sin pensarlo. Todos los que la conocemos sabemos que siempre sonrie sin importar las circunstancias, aunque su corazón llore por dentro.

Su vida desde pequeña pues no ha sido tan fácil, se crió con su abuela y tía, las cuales murieron cuando Romy era aún joven. Este sin duda alguna, ha sido uno de los momentos más duros en su vida, ambas fallecieron de la misma enfermedad que Romy lucha hoy. Por lo que, ella más que nadie sabe como es el padecimiento de esta enfermedad. Sin padres con quien contar, ni desde de pequeña y mucho menos en ese momento pues, al partir su abuela y tia, Romy empezó a rehacer su vida encontrándose como todos altos y bajos. A pesar de todo, mantuvo su espíritu positivo y su corazón generoso. Decidió tomar nuevos rumbos en otro país lejos de su natal Ecuador y se mudó a Argentina, pensando que muchas cosas cambiarían, sin embargo en su camino han existido aquellos que la han lastimado y traicionado, no obstante, nunca perdió la esperanza de encontrar a alguien con la que ella podría tener esa familia que tanto soñó. Hace un año atrás, por fin decidió darse una oportunidad al amor y encontró a esa persona especial que la ama con todo su corazón, entre planes de boda y con la esperanza de sonreirle a la vida, sentía que no había algo bien en su salud. Desde hace unos meses atrás sentía un ligero dolor que con el transcurso del tiempo se fue haciendo más severo y esta vez con su estómago un poco abultado, decidió realizarse un chequeo médico, como es de su personalidad pensar que todo estaría bien pues pensó que no era nada grave. Con su corta edad de 37 años, nunca se imaginó que esa enfermedad tan conocida por ella y temida pues iba a asecharla nuevamente pero ahora no en sus seres queridos, sino en ella. Al recibir la noticia de ser detectada cáncer a los ovarios específicamente adenovirus carcinoma seroso, lamentablemete en etapa muy avanzada, ya que este cáncer se ha extendido al intestino y al peritoneo, convirtiéndose en metástasis, pues otra vez sus planes vuelven a cambiar y ahora tiene que luchar por su vida y vencerlo.

Te pido que por favor, la ayudemos, el tumor que tiene es muy grande y no puede ser operada, pues está alojado en los ovarios, la zona peritoneal y el instestino, Con las sesiones de quimioterapia se espera que el tumor se reduzca para poder ser intervenida en cirugía y darle una opotunidad de vida.

Es verdad quizás ya no pueda cumplir su sueño de tener hijos pero Dios le ha dado un corazón tan grande que si puede sobrevivir y luchar, ese sueño de tener una familia con la persona que ama es posible, así no sea con hijos propios pero con otro tipo de alternativas.

Ella sigue viviendo en Argentina con su novio, quien ha decidido trabajar a medio tiempo para cuidarla y que no se sienta muy sola, pues hasta el día de hoy sigue sin contar con sus padres como soporte y con sus familiares cercanos en otros países, la soledad, frustración y temor es algo que pesa en su corazón.
