Ayudemos a Leeam A Caminar - Parálisis Cerebral

Hola. Gracias por estar aquí y tomarte el tiempo de leer mi historia, es muy importante para mí.

Mi nombre es Leeam tengo 6 años de edad, vivo en Venezuela, soy un niño muy amoroso y dulce, a los 2 meses fui diagnosticado con Leucomalacia periventricular (parálisis cerebral) de tipo diplejía espástica. Mi mayor sueño es el de “caminar solito” me gustaría poder correr en el parque y jugar futbol. Recientemente (23/02/24) fui intervenido de mis piernas y brazos mediante una cirugía llamada Fibrotomía Gradual (Ulzibat) realizada en España, dicha cirugía me brindará la posibilidad de corregir y lograr mi movilidad de forma independiente, reducir el dolor asociado a la espasticidad, evitar deformaciones articulares y mejorar mi calidad de vida.

Debido a mi condición debo asistir a diferentes terapias las cuales me ayudan en las áreas donde mis fortalezas son menores: (cognitiva, ocupacional, lenguaje, psicológicas- psicopedagógicas y fisioterapia), aunque mis padres han costeado de manera individual mis terapias mi tratamiento cada día es más exigente y los recursos económicos para cubrirlas son cada vez más limitados. Es por ello que hoy estoy aquí para tocar tu corazón y solicitar tu ayuda.

Actualmente debo adicionar un plan intensivo de fisioterapia y rehabilitación el cual garantizara el éxito de mi cirugía. El mismo consta de terapias en agua y fisioterapias asociadas al método Medek y continuar con mis terapias psicopedagógicas y de lenguaje y comunicación. Sé que con tu aporte lograremos cumplir este sueño. Ten en cuenta que todos los fondos recaudados en esta campaña serán destinados a mi tratamiento el cual es fundamental para mi desarrollo y evolución.

Hello. Thank you for being here and taking the time to read my story, it is very important to me.

My name is Leeam, I am 6 years old, I live in Venezuela, I am a very loving and sweet child, at 2 months I was diagnosed with periventricular leukomalacia (cerebral palsy) of the spastic diplegia type. My biggest dream is to “walk alone” I would like to be able to run in the park and play soccer. Recently (02/23/24) I underwent surgery on my legs and arms through a surgery called Gradual Fibrotomy (Ulzibat) performed in Spain. This surgery will give me the possibility of correcting and achieving my mobility independently, reducing the pain associated with spasticity, avoid joint deformities and improve my quality of life.

Due to my condition, I must attend different therapies which help me in the areas where my strengths are minor: (cognitive, occupational, language, psychological-psychopedagogical and physiotherapy), although my parents have individually paid for my therapies and my treatment every day. It is more demanding and the economic resources to cover them are increasingly limited. That is why today I am here to touch your heart and ask for your help.

Currently I must add an intensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation plan which will guarantee the success of my surgery. It consists of water therapies and physiotherapy associated with the Medek method and continuing with my psychopedagogical and language and communication therapies. I know that with your contribution we will be able to fulfill this dream. Please note that all funds raised in this campaign will be used for my treatment, which is essential for my development and evolution.
