A’yden is a bright, energetic 7-year-old who has faced more medical challenges than any child should. For three long years, he endured persistent pain, discomfort, repeated infections, and countless visits to doctors and specialists—only to be misdiagnosed time and time again.
On July 18th—just one day after his 7th birthday—we finally received answers: A’yden was diagnosed with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), a condition where urine flows backward into the kidneys, leading to frequent infections and potential long-term damage. This condition has taken a huge toll on A’yden’s young life, preventing him from fully enjoying family time, school activities, and simply being a kid.
Now, A’yden needs a bilateral bladder reconstruction—a major, complex surgery that brings hope for a healthier, more active future. This procedure must take place five hours from home, requiring our family to travel and stay near the hospital for an extended time during his treatment and recovery.
While we are incredibly thankful that A’yden has a strong, loving support system, the financial burden is growing quickly. The costs of travel, lodging, meals, time away from work, and ongoing medical expenses are placing significant strain on our family.
We are deeply grateful to anyone who takes the time to hear A’yden’s story. Your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—will help us cover the many costs surrounding this critical surgery. More than anything, it will help give A’yden the healthy, joyful childhood he deserves, filled with laughter, play, and pain-free days.
Thank you for being part of A’yden’s journey. Your kindness means the world to us.
