A wee bit of help for our friend Roxann

We hope this note finds you and your family well.
As you know, Roxann continues her treatment for cancer. While she is receiving good care from her oncologist, she has the opportunity to seek some additional medical care from the Care Oncology Clinic (founded in London, England).
Roxann is drawn to the Care Oncology Clinic's ethical standards, their history of success and the approach that they take. What they know about cancer is it can change the metabolic pathways it uses to grow. Care Oncology prescribes research-based medications (along with her normal standard of care, plus diet changes and other natural therapies) to block multiple pathways at once so the cancer cells can't survive. This approach has been effective in helping slow the spread of cancer, sometimes into remission.
We are creating this gofundme page to ask for your support. (Please don't make me talk about insurance companies or pharmaceutical companies...blah, blah, grrrr.) The money raised will go directly to the cost of her initial visit and three follow up visits throughout the year. These visits are virtual unless we raise $20,000 and send her to London! Haha.
Please feel free to share this page with anyone you think might be interested in giving a wee bit of help. Please do not feel obligated to give at this time. UPDATE: Thank you to all of you who have so generously given to Roxann via this gofundme page. Your donations and prayers have meant a lot to Rox. We are still hopeful that she will be able to work closely with the Care Oncology team, but in the meantime these funds will also be used for her current medical bills, personal needs and facilitating the possibility of spending quality time with family. On her behalf, thank you. Our dear friend is the type of person who wants to write a thank you note to each of you, but I have assured her we are not in need of a thank you note.
