Rory recently sustained serious facial injuries after being attacked by a dog.  She has lost the sight in one of her eyes and has undergone major surgery to restore use of her facial muscles; she will require more reconstructive/restorative surgery.  She is currently in a Boston Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where she faces a long recovery period.
