- Aubree Jo is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic B-Cell Leukemia on 3.16.22. She lives with her Mama, Daddy, younger sister Carmella and two dogs, Babs and Buster in Sumter, SC.
- Aubree's laugh is infectious and her sense of humor is perfection. She is the sweet of the sweet and spicy combo (that is Aubree and Carmella).
- My husband and I lived in New York with our two beautiful daughters Aubree (4 at the time) and Carmella (1-year-old at the time). Then in December of 2021 we all moved (yes, our fur babies Babs and Buster too) to Manning, South Carolina. Three months into living in this beautiful new state Aubree Jo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic B-Cell Leukemia. To say we were shocked was an understatement. This beautiful, vivacious, precious, funny and extremely intelligent little girl has CANCER? Of course, as her mama (and daddy too) I had to step up in ways you can't even begin to imagine. All I know is this year has been filled with long car rides, eating out ALOT, hospital stays, blood draws, surgeries, chemotherapy and oral meds. The hospital is about 1.5 hours from our house. Medicine still costs us and she has been on steroids for months causing her appetite to increase thus increasing her grocery bill, gas bill, etc
- After only living in SC for 8 months, we found out we had to move again, while Aubree was staying in the hospital for the entire month of September and regularly getting chemotherapy.
