Attack of the Erectorfoot!!!

Hey guys, well, I bet you’re all wondering what an Erectorfoot is. It’s what I’ve begun calling the external fixator that’s on my foot holding my ankle together. Let me recap.
I fell in January, broke my leg AND tore tendons in my ankle. Multiple x-rays, a couple MRI’s, and two surgeries later it’s discovered that my ankle is not healing because it’s leaking joint fluid, something Springview hospital isn’t equipped to handle.
So, I’m transferred to a specialist out of UofL hospital. Cue more x-rays and MRI’s and it’s discovered that I now have an infection in my leg bones down by my ankle. Five surgeries later I have this erector set around my foot that’s holding my ankle in place with all kinds of metal pins going into and through my foot and leg, as well as a wound vac sucking blood and infection from my ankle while antibiotic cement spacers are inside my leg, due to 8 cm of bone being amputate, working alongside the IV antibiotics Jenny must administer daily, as well as change the bandages it’s wrapped in.
Currently, I’m back in Jewish hospital due to three broken pins, two of which are broken inside my leg, bleeding from pin sites, and a stitched wound that is softening and reopening. All of this requiring an extra, unplanned surgery within the next day or two.
