A to Z Playschool is struggling… and needs YOUR help!
Miss Dee has been tirelessly and lovingly guiding toddlers for the past 28 years. Her graduates now have children who are her students. She teaches at our not-for-profit playschool in East Margaree, offering playschool sessions for 3 and 4 year old children living in the Margaree and surrounding areas. She believes in play based learning and she is a hit around town! Ask any of her graduates. You’ll find most of them reminiscing about their playschool days with Miss Dee on the farm or the beach, with visits from police officers, firemen and pregnant ladies & some wishing they could go back describing their time with Miss Dee as the best part of the childhoods.
But times are changing. In addition to higher rent and increased operational costs, young families are moving out of Cape Breton for work and enrollment is at dangerously low levels. For the past few years we have raised funds to get us through the low enrollment. The current board is currently exploring various options for funding to ensure that our younger generations do not miss out on the A to Z Playschool experience we all cherish! On behalf of all of the local children and families associated with the playschool, We sincerely thank you.
How Can You Help?
There are numerous ways you can help…
1. Encourage your friends and family in the area to enroll their preschool aged children in A to Z Playschool!
2. Make a donation to our Go fund me Page.
3. Make a check payable to A to Z playschool.
4. Share this with your friends and family along with a testimonial of your experience with Miss Dee.
