The Athlone community requires a masjid. At the moment Athlone and the nearby area have ~200 families and the existing facility for praying is rented place is a small hall and the community has grown in recent years and still growing up, Alhamdulillah, the community requires a dedicated big place for Prayer, Community Gathering, Women Facility & Children Hifz & Deeniyat.  One Centre of togetherness with integrity in diversity.

Athlone community is a mixed community of Muslims across the world. 
The Rumi Foundations Ireland requires your generous help on the project to buy a place near Athlone Town. Kindly donate to the Masjid Building Fund. This fund is used to construct the house of Allah in Midland of Ireland to accommodate the community of Athlone and nearby locality. So, build a mosque in this world and build your palace in Jannah. 

Help build a mosque for your ummah in need, donate from just €500 for a prayer space. There is no Big or Small donation. All donation is 100% to Masjid Construction. 

Please do not give Zakat money for Masjid Construction.

Planning

Option1: Buy an Industrial Place Which requires huge one time landing money.

or

Option2: Buy a Site with Subject to Planning Permission (SPP)

    Phase 1:  Acquiring land. Your donation now will help us to acquire a piece of land with Subject to Planning Permission. . Due to current land/property prices around Athlone, the estimated amount will be ~90000 euro for a piece of land. Seeking approval for Masjid from the council, surveyor, design etc is a long commitment to fulfil

    Phase 2: As per the Planning Permission, build a simple surrounding structure with a bare minimum facility and keep up the next phase of fundraising to finish the building.

           Note: All these planning is best known by Allah SWT and we are optimistic to go for Option1 about the current plannings and we can only move to Phase-1, once we have enough amount to proceed with it.

Masjid is a place of worship, spontaneous and ceaseless praise, and a place where people gather to remember the Divine. Its significance not only limited to remembrance but in the fact that the remembrance is done in a gathering. It also enables the welfare of the community, gives an opportunity to care for others and to love one another.
