UPDATE: Today; 9/27/23 Ashley gained her Angel Wings. We are all deeply saddened by her passing.

The family is still needing to pay her insurance, medical expenses and now funeral expenses. Anything that can be donated is greatly appreciated.

Hi, my name is Melissa Long and I’m helping to raise funds for Ashley as she battles cancer and is unable to work.

Ashley was diagnosed with a synovial sarcoma tumor on her right arm in October of 2021. She had radical resection surgery in December to remove it and went through 6 1/2 weeks of radiation. Her first set of scans were negative. In August 2022 she went to have scans again and was told she had a tumor on her left arm and they also found it on her lungs. She is now on my 4th different chemotherapy treatment in hopes that this one works. She had a bronchoscopy to remove a tumor from her airway in February 2023 and was hospitalized for 3 days at the end of February as a result of the chemo treatment she was on. She is currently on a different treatment and had scans on June 9th to determine if the treatment is effective. They found that is working; however the spots on her lungs did show some growth. On July 7th, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor from her left arm and is currently recovering from surgery with drainage tubes in place.

With this being said; the medical bills are adding up quickly! Hospital bills, Health Insurance, Car Insurance, everyday expenses, bills, medical bills, etc; as Ashley has been unable to work for quite some time now and unsure when she will be able to return.
