As many of you know, our friend Ashley met Cameron while in college at Lee University in 2016. They were joined together in marriage in front of their friends and family on Jan. 12, 2019. In March of 2020, the fact that Covid-19 changed their work and personal lives did not change their happy life together.
Sadly, however, in May, 2020, Cam was diagnosed with a rare high-grade cancer of the brain. As if cancer of the brain were not enough, his treatment, recovery, and even his passing were all complicated by the Covid-19 restrictions that 2020 has brought. But, Cam was a fighter. Through all that he suffered, he did not complain. He and Ashley did not give up. He entered two experimental trials and was supported by both families and their church in Florida. Despite his zest for life, a gentle spirit and a resolve to do anything for his precious wife, he left us to meet the God he loved so dearly on December 29th.
Now it is time to come together to support Ashley in faith and friendship. Please continue to pray for her and all the friends and family members Cameron leaves behind.
Please also consider a financial donation to cover the family's travel expenses to try to find a cure, remaining medical bills, and funeral expenses. Your donation can help ease the burden on sweet Ashley and honor the passing of a remarkable young man of faith that God is happy to welcome home.
