Update 2-25-21
Aryan has started his medications and rehab. He can sit by himself, stand with assistance, brush his teeth and is getting better at eating. He understands many things but still can not talk. He is moving his lips more and trying hard to talk but the words just are not coming out yet. The new photos posted are with his in home therapist. holding his son Jayden for the first time. The scars under his arms where caused by the hospital while he was restrained to his bed. Aryan will need at least 3 more months of his medications and rehab. Any and all donations would greatly be appreciated. Please share with as many friends as possible, shares are free and could lead to something.

Update February 19th, 2021

Aryan spoke his first word, momma, he continues to try and talk but is not able to get the words out yet. He is improving with his understanding of what people say to him and is trying to sit up in bed. Aryan saw a neurologist this week, he has been prescribed several medications to help improve brain function and needs to get started with physical therapy.  The medication and therapy will cost about $2000 per month. Without your support and donations Aryan will not receive these needed medical services as in their country it is pay first or you do not get the drugs or therapy.  The next three months are crucial for his recovery.

Update February 13th, 2021

Aryan has been sent home from the hospital.  It is now up to the family to provide 24 hour care. Aryan can not talk, walk or sit up in bed. He recognizes family and does respond to some verbal communication.  Aryan still needs medical supplies, diapers, medication, supplements to nourish his brain, medical equipment to better care for him at home.  He still needs to follow up with Dr's for more testing. Without funding Aryan will not get these services.

Update February 9th

From our whole family, we are wholeheartedly grateful for the voluntarily giving help to our family to those who form your group. To the top of you and to all the members of this group. Even though we didn't come near you voluntarily gave us help. Thank you also to my fellow barangay. It's ours that they approached. This is a great help to us. For my husband's complete recovery, he himself will thank you all. Let's wait for all of that.. God bless to all of you..

Update February 8th

Ayran remans out of coma, breathing tube and feeding tube have been removed. Ayran is able to drink from a straw, they hope to start feeding him soup soon. Aryan is responding properly to voice commands, makes eye contact but still not able to talk.  

Family members are sharing a small motel room, sleeping on a tile floor so they can take turns in the hospital providing 24/7 care. The photo below is Aryan and his brother Emil in the hospital.

I would like to thank everyone for your support, for those who do not know in the Philippines many medical services are not provided until you pay first. Aryan has a long road ahead of him, many needed medical procedures will need to be paid first or they will not be provided.  Please help, please share, please encourage others to share and help.

UPDATE
On February 5th Nora (mom) was allowed to see Aryan for the first time after being quarantined from her flight over. The revised photo is Nora holding Aryan's hand. Aryan is considered OUT of a coma now, Aryan opens his eyes and is responding properly to voices. When Nora asked Aryan to wave his hand, Aryan waved, reached up and touched her hair.

UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who did not hesitate and acted quick to pay for Aryan's medical bills at the first hospital. YOUR quick action allowed Aryan the chance to remain on life support and be transported to another hospital where they are willing to to provided the needed care and give him more time to come out of a coma.

On January 17th 2021 Aryan (Yayan) Lalo DelaCruz was involved in a motorcycle accident. Aryan is in a coma and on life support. He has responded to voices and needs more time to see if he will recover. 

Aryan is 24 years old and has no insurance for any of his expenses. Aryan's wife Cyril and 2 year old son Jayden depended on him for all of their daily needs.

The family needs help with medical bills and daily living expenses. Any donations would greatly be appreciated.
