Our family is humbly asking for your support during the most difficult time we have faced.

Arturo Ochoa was a faithful and loving husband, father, friend, and new grandfather. He shared a love of the arts, music, science, books, and movies with anyone willing to listen. Arturo had a wonderful sense of humor that made most who encountered him love him. He was no exception to the occasional corny dad joke of course but that made him all that much more lovable. He was a provider. He always made sure that our family had what was necessary to succeed. He was proud of the family he made and of the community he created around him.

Although his passing was unexpected due to the circumstances, Arturo had lived through many complications that compromised his health. At the age of forty, he began his battle with his heart condition that slowly began to weaken his health and deteriorate his body. A glimpse of hope was granted to our family last June with an unexpected opportunity of a heart transplant. Arturo had a successful transplant and seemed to be recovering quite well. He did not have any major complications as a result of the transplant which is why his passing was a surprise to us all.

Arturo Ochoa was a fighter. We are sure he fought until the very end to be able to share more valuable moments with his family. He paved his own way in this life and facilitated paths for his children to pave their own way in this world as well. We loved him very much and he will be deeply missed.
