Dear Family and friends, as you know, our daughter Arissa has been studying Chinese for the past 3 years at Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School (WYYPCS), a full immersion Chinese, International Baccalaureate, elementary school in Washington, DC.

With every passing day Arissa's becoming more fluent at reading, writing and speaking Chinese. This summer Arissa and her classmates have the incredible opportunity to travel to China for 2 weeks. Once there she will be truly be immersed in the Chinese language and culture. The first week will be spent in Bejing and Chendu visiting historical sites like Tian An Men , The Forbidden City and The Great Wall. The second week she will have the amazing opportunity to live with a host family, experiencing all the daily activates of the average 10 year old Chinese girl in Zunyi.

What an awesome experience this will be for Arissa!

This is a very expensive trip. Total cost $6,500 (cost includes airfare, lodging  for 1 child and 1 parent) and  meals. We really want to make this happen for Arissa. Therefore, we really need your help. Our goal is $3,500. Any support that you can provide, either monetary or spiritually would be greatly appreciated.
