Dear supporter,
We are so shocked and excited to announce that we won the UK Final of the International Champions of Collegiate A Cappella last weekend, meaning that we now have the opportunity to travel to the bright lights of Broadway in New York to represent the country in the International Final! Since 2017 it's been a crazy few years for the group but there's no slowing down now!
In all honesty, having just finished fundraising for our first full length album, we were really keen to try and avoid crowdfunding for a long time. However, this was so unexpected, and with all our previous funds tied up in the album (which we are BEYOND excited to share with you all at the end of the Summer), we unfortunately cannot avoid using this platform again to raise funds for this trip. We don't currently receive outside funding, besides our own efforts busking at every opportunity, and raising this money at such short notice is definitely a daunting task.
So we have to come back, after your previous incredible generosity, to ask for your help again to get this group to NYC to represent the UK! For the older members of the group especially, it's been an absolute privilege to have received so much support from both our own little family as well as the wider UK A Cappella community over the madness of the last few years.
We don't take representing our community lightly, and we really want to show the US what UK A Cappella is all about in New York! We need to raise nearly £11,000 to cover the cost of flying to and staying in NYC for the competition, and we are hoping to go part way to achieving that on this platform.
This year truly is the culmination of years of dedication and hard work and we are so excited for what's to come. To go to New York with your 14 best friends to represent the country on Broadway would be an absolute dream come true. We'd so so appreciate any help you can give in making it a reality.
