My name is Yahixa. I am a mother of two beautiful children, 5-year-old Alanna and 2-year-old Liam.

Today I want to speak to you from the heart.

My daughter, Alanna Isabella, has Partial Complex Focal Epilepsy, a condition that has been a great challenge for our family. In the midst of it all, she remains a warrior: she smiles, plays and fights every day with a strength that inspires us all.

We currently have traveled to the state of Chicago so that Alanna can have specialized medical studies that are not available in Puerto Rico.

The trip involves many expenses: tickets, accommodation, transportation, a place to stay and cover parts of her treatment.

That's why I've created this campaign to raise as many donations as possible, so I can cover those expenses and continue to provide my daughter with the care she needs.
