Hello, my name is Antonio Arrnold and I'm a Muay Thai fighter from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Over the last 6 years I have been competing regularly and testing myself against the best competition available. I've fought a lot of tough competition and some of the best guys in Canada. (i.e. WMO world champion Ben Pride, IFMA gold medalist Jordan Graham, and WKF Ontario Champion Paolo Millo) On the international stage I've travelled to and competed in Thailand many times fighting on the same cards as world stars like Ognjen Topic (USA) & Eakchanachai Kaewsamrit(Thailand); even fighting current Rajadamnern stadium champion Nawee EagleMuayThaigym on four days notice.
Having competed as such a level I have been selected as part of the World Kickboxing Federations Team Canada to represent the country in the WKF world championships in Andria, Italy this upcoming November. This is a great honour and an amazing opportunity however it is a very expensive one. As amateur athletes the members of team Canada will not be paid to compete in the tournament so everything from flights to hotels to uniforms will be coming out of our own pockets. While I have saved up for all my trips in the past this one comes with an aggressive payment schedule and poor timing for my budget. I am posting this with hopes of aleviating some of the costs so that I can continue chasing the dream while representing this great country on the world stage. Thank you very much for reading/sharing/contributing. Every little bit helps!
