Anthony's Liver Transplant Fund

Many of you have called, texted, emailed and facebooked me asking how you can help. I am appreciative beyond words of your compassion. After much consideration and consultation with my advisors, we have selected GoFundMe as the most efficient way to allow those who want to help to do so. Please share with your contacts, friends and family. Currently,I am awaiting a liver transplant and the costs not covered by insurance are staggering. (50k seems like a lot of money but not when you consider one of my medications is 2k alone.) For those able to give, the donated funds will be used for medical care, medication and household bills. I have been out of work for 11 months now and look forward to returning once I am transplanted. For those with whom you share and ask to donate please see below a very brief bio.

Anthony (Tony) was an attorney* (NCCU School of Law, 2001), an Omega (Iota Iota Chapter, 1985) and most importantly a father to Ellington and Chad and a father figure to  Courtney and Tiye.  He is a native of Raleigh, NC and a 1981 graduate of St. Augustine’s University. He attended Carnage Middle School and Broughton High School (1977). He has worked for the State of NC with both the Departments of Revenue and Transportation. Once he passed the NC State Bar Exam in 2001 he went into private practice with a focus on criminal defense. He is looking forward to returning to a normal life including working, enjoying time with his sons, family and friends and GOLF.
