Due to updated life events, the GoFundMe goals have changed. There are emergency legal issues i cannot discuss, however, need immediate financial planning for. This is our one shot in court to save Samara. There will be no funeral until after court fees are paid and no urns for my family at this time. Please donate and share the fund link, and thank you!
My name is AnnaMarie, this is the most challenging letter I’ve ever written. I am raising funds in order to cover the final expenses of my homegoing. I am a Metastatic Esophageal Cancer patient, I also have Ovarian Cancer. I have been battling multiple cancer diagnoses since October 2020. I am nearing the end stages. I have spent the last 2 years indoors, away from my friends and the world to keep my immune system intact, going to bi-weekly chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation treatments. I’ve had multiple procedures and surgeries performed. I am remaining positive that I will be able to resolve all loose ends of my planning before my homegoing, but in order to do that I am asking for your help.
I do not want my family to shoulder the financial burden of my burial expenses, as they are already taking on so much grief for the situation, and simultaneous love for my daughter, Samara, whom they are adopting.
I would like my final wishes to be fulfilled as such, and your donations will be used for the following:
- The final burial expenses after my homegoing. I desire to be cremated, have a small, meaningful service at my home church, and have memorial urns purchased for my daughter and surviving immediate family members (mother, sister, and brothers).
- If we exceed my goal, any additional funds will go toward the long-term care of my daughter, set into a fund that will help pay for her college education.
