A MEDICAL TEST FOR ANNA!
We are very proud of our medical system in Canada, but sometimes the wait time for tests is unbearable.
This is the case with our good friend Anna (Andy) who has had cancer hit her for a second time. She needs a PETSCAN ... and she needs it NOW. Please read her latest Facebook update:
Update: saw the thoracic surgeon today....very impressive...straight to the point....this type of cancer normally never gets detected before stage three as it normally masks other issues...sooooo stage three it is...I am on a wait list for a petscan to determine it hasn't spread....combo of chemo radiation and then surgery...problem is waitlist for petscan is 4-6 weeks.....so pray my friends that this shit doesn't spread. As I've always said...live life like there's no tomorrow....love you all.
It is within our power to help Anna get that test done privately, immediately. Any extra funding will assist her and her family throughout the expensive recovery time ahead.
