A2 Brave New Voices Poetry Team

I am a proud mom of the Ann Arbor Poetry Slam team! Our team of 5 teen girls are on their way to Washington DC to compete in the Brave New Voices Poetry Slam along with teams all across the country, July 12th-17th.
The money raised here will cover their registration, travel and meals during their week long stay in DC. They will engage in writing workshops, classes and compete for the national title. This will be an awesome experience for our daughters.
This is important to me because poetry has given my daughter the opportunity to discover her voice and share her soul with the world. These girls have joyfully dedicated hours to perfect their craft and shown tremendous personal growth and dedication. They deserve this opportunity to shine!
Each donor will receive a Chapbook of their winning poetry as a thank you gift. Please complete your donation by July 9th.
