Animal Crackers Pet Rescue - Help!

Our shelter, located in Laguna Hills, California, needs your financial help.    We take the abused animals, and the bottle feeding babies that the high kill shelters destroy.   We need YOUR help to continue to save the animals.    Due to rent increases, a move, and many new animals, we urgently need financial help.

Ginger,  (pictured) 18 mos. old recently came to us, with eight newborn nursing puppies.  She had been rejected by two shelters.   Two pups died.  She was starving, had been beaten,  kicked in the teeth, and was covered in sores and fleas.   She was too weak from infection to feed the babies.  We saved Ginger and the  six puppies with around the clock bottle feeding.    Ginger and all puppies were just placed in forever homes.    The cost of getting them healthy was $2200.00.

In addition to 20 new rescues,  we now have sweet Helena, 5 yrs, a 12 pound blind schnoodle (picture below)  that has been severely beaten, starved,  had broken legs, mange, and has a parasitic blood infection  from ticks.  A primary concern for her is eye and teeth care.   She is one of the more heinous abuse cases the shelter has ever seen.   Her medical costs will go over $1500.00.  Finding a patient, loving home for her will be a challenge,  but our shelter and foster volunteers will nurture her for as long as it takes.

Animal Cracker's Pet rescue badly needs your financial help and could close within two months without help.   We are a non-profit rescue that relies primarily on donations to take in the worst of the worst of the animals from shelters,  abuse situations,  and cases of dire need.   Our facility has one employee and is run by dedicated volunteers.  Your donation will go directly to the animals, and are tax deductible.

Over the last 20 plus years, our shelter, founded by Gina Kantzabedian, has saved  thousands of animals.  With your generous donations we will stay open and take in more and continue on our mission.  We have the skill, patience and the facility.  The staff is ready for more animals if we have the funds.

Animal Crackers would not be able to continue to take in animals without the continued support of our financial donors. Food, shots, neuters/spays, rabies, microchips, training, housing, medical emergencies, are just some of the financial burdens a rescue must be prepared for. Our pets are all fully vetted and receive the same care any owner would provide to it's own beloved family companion. Your donation allows us to continue to serve animals in need in our community and ensure a safe and loving future for each of them. All denominations are greatly appreciated, and will be used frugally.

Please help us now as we  go into the holiday season where the most baby animals and unwanted holiday gift pets get abandoned.

Your donation will also help us broadcast our boarding and  food  business,  which will help us become more self sufficient.

Timothy, 14 weeks, saved one hour before death at Hesperia shelter.  He was deathly ill with barely any fur, and had been badly beaten.   We nursed him in our arms like this until he got well.

Mia,  the malnourished  6 week old,  found tied to a tree in a homeless camp.   No shelter wanted a pitbull  mix.

Saved right before euthanization, now living in a happy home. We stay up around the clock to help save motherless bottle babies like this.  Shelters regularly kill the bottle feeders, as they do not have the time or resources to care for them.  We can help, with funding.
