On Saturday, May 21, 2016, our dear friend Angie Carr was struck by a car while crossing a road in Coweta, Oklahoma. Angie sustained major injuries to her face and pelvis, along with multiple lacerations on her body. Her pelvis is broke in 4 places as well as her nose. She will need multiple surgeries to reconstruct her left eye socket and cheek. There is a small bleeding in the brain the Doctors are watching. As far as we know, there isn't any skull fractures or swelling in the brain which is amazing news. Angie is the most kind, compassionate, caring, and fun loving person I know. She is one of a kind and is loved by so many in this community. The Doctors are estimating she will be confined to a bed for 6-8 weeks, along with months of continued rehab. This will mean a loss of income for Angie & her family, as well as mounting medical bills. When a family is in need Angie is always the first to offer her help in any way she can. Well my friends Angie is now the one in major need. Let's all rally behind this amazing woman and show her our support. Please continue to pray for Angie & her family during this difficult time.
