Peace for Dad!

Dad, your journey has just begun. God saw you getting tired of fighting an endless battle, and a cure was not meant to be. So, he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay because God has something else planned. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. It is now your turn to look over us from heaven while we pray for your eternal peace. As much as we try to understand how life works, it is hard to find the logic behind certain things. Sometimes we take too many things for granted and let the distance be the excuse, but now that your soul is in heaven we want you here close to us. 

As some of you might know, we recently received the sad news that our Dad passed away in Mexico City last Sunday, January 7th and now that he is finally home "in heaven" we would like for him to rest peacefully among the churches and close to us. We would like to deposit his ashes in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery next to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (Doral). 

With a broken heart, we would like to ask for your contribution to help us honor his memory. The money raised would not only allow our Dad to be in a niche where he can calmly rest in our local church, but it would give our best friend a place where he could start again.
