Support Ange's Fight Against Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
Greetings, my name is Ange Meek, and I was a Mason/Tile Installer for almost 20 years. When I found out that I was pregnant with my son, Graeme, I chose to stay home and raise him for the first four years of his life.
After four years, I was ready to go back to work, just not as Mason/Tile Installer. So I decided to go to college and became a Biologist. And on April 05, 2022, I was hired by Sorrento Lactalis to work on the Whey Plant Team as a Lab Tech II performing Chemistry/Microbiology testing on whey powder.
On April 19, 2024, I fell and hit my head pretty hard and I was a little foggy after that. I went to ER on the April 22, 2024, where they found a tumor on my brain (along with swelling). I scheduled for a Neuro Surgeon consultation on April 25, 2024....and by the 30th, I was in for a brain surgery.
During the surgery, the Doctor sent a sample off to the Lab for analysis. It came back as cancerous and I was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer on April 30, 2024. There were many different areas of my body: the brain, top outside of the right lung, lymph nodes, L1 vertebrae of the spine, and the Doctors are unsure if it's moved to the liver.
At this point, I am facing a fairly hefty bill for my brain surgery. There's still quite a bit of radiation 'clean-up' to do on my brain area. And then the rest of my body needs radiation, which costs money.
The whole point of this GoFundMe account is to help secure my son, Graeme's, future against any of my medical bills. He is only 10 years old, and I don't want him to face all of these bills. Anything helps out!
