Andrew, 19, and Ryan Cadigan, 15, tragically lost their father, Kevin Cadigan, to a kayak accident on the Merrimack River on June 29, 2016. Andrew is a sophmore at Holy Cross and Ryan has hopes of pursuing college in a few short years. This fund has been established to assist with both boys' educational needs that have now become increasingly difficult.
This heart wrenching and unexpected loss of thier father will be an incredible challenge to overcome without also having to struggle with college expenses.
The family wishes to thank the incredible Lawrence Firefighter and Paramedic rescuers who pulled thier father from the river and were able to resuscitate him. On Tuesday July 5, 2016 Kevin passed with family present after valiant efforts to save him at Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center. We ask that you give what you can, as Kevin always gave of himself to others, and would want his sons to be successful as well.
Every bit of this fund will be used to defray the higher education costs of Andrew and Ryan.
