I am currently unable to support my share of my daughter’s education.  I have a chronic illness which makes me unable to work and unable to provide for her education. I am asking for your help so I can keep my daughter in school for just one more year.

On September 25th, 2012, I contracted Guillain-Barré syndrome. GBS is an autoimmune condition triggered by a viral infection, or in some very rare cases, by a vaccination for a viral disease. In my case, it was the common flu shot. The doctors told me I was, ‘One in a Million’. 

GBS causes my immune system to attack my body as if it were an infection, resulting in major nerve damage. For the past few years, it has caused damage to my Autonomic Nerve System, and now I have Atelactisis, which has caused both lower lobes of my lungs to collapse.

Because of GBS, I haven’t been able to work for almost 12 years, so I haven’t been able to pay for my share of her tuition, and the child support that I pay just isn’t enough anymore. 

I am asking for your help to save my incredibly kind, smart, and powerful daughter’s education for this year. 

Please, and only if you can in this very uncertain future for all of us, would you please consider helping my daughter’s education?
